Brainerd Lakes Area Fishing Report, June 25, 2014

The walleye bite continues to pick up on most Brainerd area lakes. Gull, Pelican, North Long, and Whitefish are all putting out fish at different times. The bite has been weather dependent with the better bite coming with a little overcast and wind. Look for fish in those windblown spots in 13-22 feet of water. read more

We had a good week fishing the Brainerd area. The walleye bite is taking shape nicely and we are finding fish on several area lakes. Gull, North Long, and Pelican seem to be the best. The WalleyeDan Team was on Gull Lake this opening weekend for the Governors Opener. The channels were definitely the place to be.
