Manhattan Beach is one of the northern most cities in Crow Wing County, approximately 30 miles north of Brainerd on Big Trout Lake, the north central lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. Just two square miles in size, the year round population of about 45 jumps to about 100 when seasonal cabin owners and guests return for the summer.

Community Events

The Manhattan Beach area is just north of Crosslake, a community that celebrates year round. Enjoy a variety of events each year, from a St. Patrick’s Parade that has been around for over 30 years, to Crosslake Days, a community-wide nine-day celebration.
