Whitefish Chain of Lakes

Crosslake is situated on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes with 14 interconnected, island-studded lakes, making this a boaters paradise. The construction of the dam at Crosslake raised the water level, making channels between Cross Lake, Upper and Lower Whitefish Lakes, and 13 other natural lakes, which is better known as the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. This 13,660 acre body of water, with 119 miles of shoreline, provides dozens of interesting bays for recreational boating, fishing , snowmobiling, sight seeing, and many local dining options accessible by water.

Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway

Tour in your cars, pedal your bikes, or just put on some good walking shoes for the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway. This is 54 miles of stunning scenery through the cities of Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point, Crosslake, Manhattan Beach, Pine River, and Jenkins. Podcasts and interpretive kiosks tell the stories of these communities, history, and local folk-lore.
