Nisswa  (population 2,048)

Nisswa is located on the northern end of the Gull Lake Chain and is a "city of lakes" containing all or part of seven area lakes. It's a popular destination for unique shopping, diverse lodging, golf, dining, and festive events. Turtle races take place every Wednesday afternoon in the summer months and bring hundreds of spectators to downtown Nisswa. The paved Paul Bunyan Trail makes its way right through the heart of the town.
