    On Rice Lake one mile east of the East Brainerd Mall in Brainerd. Swimming beach, shelters, playground, fishing dock, public launch.
  • North Long Lake
    On Highway 371 North, seven miles north of Brainerd. Swimming beach, boat launch, picnic area.
  • Whipple Beach
    Located west on Highway 210 to Inglewood Drive, Baxter. Swimming beach, fishing pier, playground, picnic area, vending, expansive sandy beach, flush toilets, boat launch.

Breezy Point

  • Pelican Lake Beach
    North of Brainerd on Crow Wing County Road 118. Sandy beach, swimming area, picnic tables.

Crosby

  • Serpent Lake
    Off Main Street, Crosby. Camping, swimming beach, playground, picnic pavilion, grills, band shelter, softball field, boat launch, basketball court, volleyball court.
  • Yawkey Park
    North of Crosby on Highway 6, Crosby. Primitive park with swimming in Yawkey Pit.

Crosslake

  • Big Trout Lake
    Located on Route 66, north of Crosslake. Boat launch, swimming area.
  • Cross Lake Recreation Area – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
    Located on Crow Wing County Road 3, Crosslake. Swimming area, shaded picnic area, grills, shelter, fishing pier, playground, sandy beach, boat launch, canoe launch. Small fee required.

 East Gull Lake

  • Gull Lake Recreation Area – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
    Located north on Highway 371 to Gull Lake Dam Road, also known as Crow Wing County Road 125, to Gull Lake. Swimming area, shaded picnic area, grills, shelter, fishing pier, playground, sandy beach, boat launch. Small fee required.

Pillager

  • Pillager Lake Park
    North of Pillager on Highway 1. Fishing pier, beach, picnic area.
  • Pillsbury State Forest
    Found eight miles west of Brained on Highway 210. Hiking and horse trails, picnic areas, shelter, boat launch, swimming.

 Pine River

  • Kater Park
    Off Barclay Avenue at the Pine River Dam. Log pavilion, picnic tables, swimming beach.
