Ready to do some serious shopping?
Put on your comfy shoes, have a hearty breakfast at one of our area restaurants, and get ready to shop 'til you drop! Click on a business name to view their hours, location, and phone number.
Heading downtown Brainerd finds you at unique local stores. The Gallery at 222 South 7th Street will charm you with it's eclectic selection. One block to the west is CatTale’s Books and Gifts, a quaint store owned by a published author and an artist.
From downtown Brainerd, head to the mall and find an array of shopping options, including locally-owned Brekken’s Clothiers.
From the mall, head to the west to Highway 371 and head north. On the west side of the road, just north of Cub Foods, you will find The Light Depot. Browse their amazing display of home and cabin furnishings.
Ready for a coffee break? Stop by Christmas Point Wild Rice Company. Located on the west side of the “371 strip" in Baxter, you’ll find three floors of shopping in a 26,000 square foot log building. Enjoy a wonderful dessert and beverage at the coffee bar.
Continue north on 371 to the Grizzly's complex, home to Lonesome Cottage Furniture Company
and a dieter's worst nightmare, Cold Stone Creamery.
Reed’s Sporting Goods just south of the Hwy 371 and 77 stoplights is the next stop in your day. In addition to quality sportsmen gear, Reed’s carries name brand clothes and shoes for men, women, and children. Be sure to venture to the back of the store where you’ll find the Minnesota Fishing Hall of Fame.
Now it’s time to head north to Nordic Living! Located on the west side of Hwy 371 just south of downtown Nisswa, this unique Scandinavian shop will have you ready to visit the old country.
And just up the road is Paper Birch Gallery. Home to watercolor artist Russell Norberg, the art gallery is full of original paintings, jewelry, and much more.
Done yet? Not even close! Downtown Nisswa is just a minute north, and is a shopper’s dream! Park your car and follow the boardwalk to shop after shop after shop full of home furnishings, gifts, clothes, books, and many unexpected delights.
Tired and hungry? Grab a table at Rafferty's for an award-winning specialty pizza before heading back and soaking in a jacuzzi!
