Let the 465 lakes located within the Brainerd Lakes Area be your playground! They are ready for you to explore in any way that you wish! Bring your own water crafts or rent one from one of our recreational rental facilities. You can rent any and every type of water craft that you can imagine – ski boats, pontoon boats, paddleboats, jet skis, kayaks and canoes...just to name a few. And note that there is a public boat access on virtually every area lake. If you prefer, take a guided tour of Pelican Lake aboard the Breezy Belle or a guided historical tour throughout the Whitefish Chain of Lakes aboard the SS Legacy. Or you could choose to experience the water from a different perspective by going scuba diving. The water is full of possibilities!
