Nordic skiers will discover 240 miles of groomed and ungroomed ski trails in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Thousands of skiers enjoy these trails that take them through a variety of forest types and landscapes. Some trails even have lighted sections for nighttime skiing.  Click on any of the trail names at the bottom of this page for a printable map.

All cross-country skiers on public ski trails age 16 and above must have a Minnesota Ski Pass. You must sign your ski pass and carry it with you when skiing. The rates are: daily pass $5; one-season ski pass, $14; and three-season ski pass, $40.  You can help keep our trails in good shape with the purchase of a ski pass.

For information on where to pick up a ski pass visit the Minnesota DNR website.
